Lisa is our hostess for this week's WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE. I had several ideas for it, this oddball card is what I ended up with.
I stamped the bulb onto acetate, and onto thin paper to create a mask.
On the base, I stamped the wire and bulb, and reverse masked it. Then I stamped the brids inside, and sponged the scene with assorted distress inks. I put the acetate onto double-sided adehesive sheeting as it was too big to fit in my Xyron X, cut it out and stuck it over the bulb.
With the maske still in place I sponged the sandy foreground and stamped the grasses. Filled the sky up with bokeh circles in shades of blue. I added some bird - originally just the two at the bottom, but then I also added the gull since I was unable to find any suitable sentiment to use. Doodled a border.

This card sure is interesting. I can't wait to see what the challenge is. I recognize one of my favorite stamps here--the Inspired by Nature grass. I love the blue bokeh and the sandpipers. A very sweet and fun seashore card!

This card is just outstanding Sabrina and oh-so creative. I adore this bokeh dot background and how you spotlighted these birds inside the light bulb and incorporated it all into the scene. I am impressed! ~Karen.
