I had fun make this card for the letter K. My K's are exploding Kite card and Kind Soul stamp set.
I saw this video for creating bubble backgrounds: so that is what I did for the paper I used to make my exploding kite card. I used Pacific Point re-inker to make my colorful bubbles, such a fun technique! When the paper was dry, I folded the kite card following the directions on the kite card tutorial: Kite Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers to make the kite.
I stamped the floral spray from Kind Soul and colored it with Copics, then die cut it. I adhered the floral spray to the kite, trimming it to fit. The purple flower on the right is popped up with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment and there is a sentiment inside the kite too.
I did want an A2 sized card so I added this lovely die cut which was gifted to me to the front of a piece of Balmy Blue. I then added the kite to that and added a double bow to the bottom of the kite.
Thanks for looking!

Your flowers are gorgeous- and so beautifully colored- love the vibrant colors! Your bubble background in the perfect backdrop, and so love the die you added on the blue.

Catherine, this is such a stunning card! I am so delighted by this gorgeous, gorgeous kite. I keep thinking I need a kite die and you just showed me this is so much better than a die. I adore the flowers on the kite and the beautiful background technique you did too! Thank you for sharing the links because I am interested in trying this out. You sure did the letter K Alphabet Challenge proud with this stunning card. ~Karen.
