Starting my newest scrapbook chronicling our quest to visit more of Alabama by visiting historical markers. This was from our Saturday visit to Downtown Florence, AL. I love a haunted story and this restaurant had one. Plus they had some yummy food.

WHAT???????????? Are you saying you were in my town this weekend? Girl, you better not have been and not called me. Of course, I have had ice cream and sandwiches in Trowbridges......yum, yum. I would be interested to know what other spots you hit. Were you on a motorcycle? It was Trail of Tears weekend here. I love your page and will put it straight to my faves.

Oh, and there are a lot of ghost stories around here. You should come back and get in on the ghost tour.

LOL. It was a last minute decision to go there - literally as we were driving down 65 we were looking at an online map and picked to go to Florence. We were only going for 1/2 a day. We are coming back in October and scheduling time to see Brenda! She is of course, the most exciting thing in the Florence area!!!!

You make the coolest backgrounds! I have been on I65 many times...should have visited all those out of the way place went we could, instead we were always in a hurry to get from here to there and now that we no longer go "there" we can't do day trips either!!
