This is for today's sketch and yesterday's teaparty. I love to collage and recycle.
The teaparty cards are going to a children's hospital. I received this catalog in the mail and saved it because it was bright and colorful and had lots of good sentiments, full of encouragement. So I think this card would be most appropriate for a little older girl, 10 or more. The inside has the sentiment that starts 'you're braver than you think' etc. etc.

Is this real fabric you've used? you talk about catalog so I suppose it's paper but it really looks like fabric and I love this fun card for a teen!!

I do admire people who can pull scraps and leftovers together like this, classing a catalogue as leftover. I see nice things in them but am floored when it comes to using them on a card. Great sentiment, sweet little sloth and such fun with the added sparkle from the washi.

I love collages and saving scraps. My favorites are the pretty butterfly under the sentiment panel and the sloth (with his great advice).
*I feel so good when I can use little pieces, like for the leaves on my card today. I stamped each on a small scrap and cut them out.

Fantastic collage! I love the bits of sparkly washi inbetween some of the strips and the sayings are so perfect for a child/teen in the hospital. This rocks!
