I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Jen is our hostess and she has picked a really fun theme called B-I-N-G-O. She created a bingo card and from there we pick 3 items we build our card around. I chose the row with: yellow-die cut-sparkle. Fortunately the recipient also likes blue so I combined yellow and blue for a cheery card.
The sunflower stamp is a very old PSX stamp so it does not ink nor stamp well. Catherine Pooler inks to the rescue though. And, Catherine Pooler inks are copic friendly when allowed to dry for at least 2 hours. I have always inked this stamp up in black and have never cared for it that much so I am much happier with this blue version.
The yellow frame was created using 2 different sized square dies, then gluing fun foam to the back side of the frame for added dimension. I had a lot of fun making this card for this week's recipient. I hope she will be on the mend very soon here. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

The blue stamping is very effective, a great combination with the cheerful yellow for the sunflowers. And that sparkly frame - gorgeous. Combined with the little floral paper (Sizzix? reminds me of something I have) it's so fun and happy.
I just unmounted a detailed Northwoods stamp that I've always had problems with, hoping it will be easier in a stamp positioner.

Karen , I love the primary colors of your sunflowers along with the softer colors of the DP’s. This stands out beautifully in the gallery and sure to bring sunshine & smiles to Susie and DH!
