Hello, I enjoy my hot AZ summers inside my house, lol, so i take that opportunity of time to make approx 200 holiday greeting cards that I donate to our local Phoenix, AZ, Packages from Home charity. they are different as they do not want an envelope and can be any size. I get these very large pads of paper for $5 a pad each summer Sale at Michaels. I choose the fastest route to cut 12x12 paper into 6 x 6 pieces and then fold to make a 6 x 3 card. just enough to make a fun front. I type a' Thank you for your service' greeting on MS word and print that on white paper to cut and glue inside.
These were the cards for female military care packages this year.
I used multi S U markers to 'camouflage' the gal's outfit. Used some Prima Julie Nutting watercolors on skin in different tones. this particular pic is not showing the diversity. i hadn't planned on posting but then thought maybe this will help someone get inspired to do a project for their own community charity or make cards for nursing staffs, they never get thanked enough for all they do. It feels great to drop these off and know you tried to uplift someone. simple stamps and coloring, but glad i make it a priority each year. TFL and hope your loved ones are all safe and well for the holidays. Teresa
