This scrapbook journaling page is all about the real Monsters in our life - evil people, cancer, alcohol, dehabilitating diseases - things we need God to help us with.
The VSBN Sep B challenge is to fussy cut something so I fussy cut the DRS Designs Zombie Guy to add against my photo booth print of my daughter and her son. The pictures all have a dinosaur or something chasing them - it was a fun photo booth at Great Wolf Lodge.
My base panel was done using a stencil dipped in an ink spray smash mixture and then pressed against the paper. Super fun to do.
The Zombie was colored with Dina Wakely scribble sticks and water. The technique challenge this week (TLC759) is to color something with a medium you are least comfortable with - I just got these scribble sticks and haven't figured them out yet.
Thanks for looking!

What a great LO Nancy and the lighthearted fun photos of your DD and DGS counteract the sadness and realities in your journalling. Love how you created your BG. Hope you are enjoying your DW goodies. TFS. Happy day hugs.

I am really loving your journaling. Very moving. The monster pics photo strip is perfect and that zombie just hanging out with his arm propped up is hilarious! Fantastic page!

Your journaling really tells a story....some good, some bad, and some so sad. You are right, we can't fight the monsters alone....but God can help us You always do such a great job and it is a life story.
