In my grandmother's garden some areas were covered with beautiful white and pink little daisies. They were common daisies, or lawn daisies. She thought there were too many of them. I loved them and couldn't understand how they could ever be weed. I still love them, and made an art journal page about this humble little flower. Every time I see one, I think of my grandmother.
When I have leftover paint or paste, I often add it to a bland page in an art journal. This gives me almost ready backgrounds to just start crafting on. This was one of those background, with texture paste stencilling and acrylic paint in shades of yellow and gold. I just added some stamped script for texture.
The daisies were die cut from watercolor paper and watercolored with Distress Inks. The grass was inked with an ink-blending tool and splattered with water for texture.
The techniques would work just as well for a card.
Thank you so much for looking at my project! Happy stamping!
