I am never happy with cards I make with pastels, and today they were being prepared to be part of a sale of my items, so I grabbed them and went to work! I think I have to spray something on this card so it does not smear..... Anyway, I am not so fond of pastels- I used them for the stencil of the bricks and on the flowers as well.
Thanks for great challenges!

I like the soft brick background you’ve created for your flowers.

WOW! I hope you kept those pastels! This is really gorgeous and I love the soft look of the bricks and flowers. I, myself, love the pastels, it's watercolor that I struggle with.

I always love the softness of pastels, so I think this is beautiful. But I don't use them nearly enough - I think because of the whole fixative thing. They're the second thing I can remember drawing with as a child, after those little watercolour pan sets. I like the country, rustic feel this has.

Love the softness of those pastels. They work great for your brick wall. I don't use my pastels very often and hope to get them out soon for a card or two.

You make a good point, Shelly. I might dislike pastels even more than watercolors. Great choice for the TLC. Regardless, you've made a beautiful and comforting CAS card!
