I mailed out the only remaining Tyvek creation in my stash a couple of weeks back, so yesterday I pulled out some more Tyvek and sponged it with DOX inks. This morning I stamped the flourish in Versamark, added gold EP and heated to distort the Tyvek.
Then I saw Judy's TLC challenge Coloring Mediums and knew I could incoporate my background. I stamped the seahorse onto watercolour paper and coloured with Marvy markers and a blender pen. I never use them for colouring except for a challenge, and I know why. Some colours move beautifully - the ochre did, the pumpkin barely budged. One green did, two greens didn't. Anyway, I used them for my seahorse and also for the coral border.
I stitched some seed beads into the background and also stuck on some little resin crystals. Added my coral border and some weed cut from a scrap of cling wrap background. Fussy-cut and added my seahorse, adding SN clear glitter to his fins.
I embossed a piece of cream card with the Taylored Expressions Weathered ef, and used tape to stick my underwater panel onto it.

So fanciful, textural, and colorful. Your photography of your work is also spot on. I find that part of coloring difficult, as my scans distort and the cameras show shadows. I haven't done a Tyvek card in years and once again you inspire.

Truly a fabulous underwater scene, Sabrina. Love the texture too and the colors are divine! You put SO much effort(and talent) into every card that you create.
