Couldn't "resist" making another Recessed Panel Card! The panel is a strip of glossy card stock made following the Wax Paper Cuttlebug Resist tutorial. I used the Gears EF to emboss the wax paper, & the distress inks to sponge the glossy panel.
Made the narrow strips framing the panel with More Mustard CS embossed with the Lattice EF. Stamped the sentiment with Espresso Truffle ink onto the Very Vanilla CS, & die-cut the banner. Layered it onto the shimmery copper CS & fussy-cut a border around it. Added the brads.
Stamped two of the border stamps onto the rusty brown CS panels with Versamark ink.
This is an anniversary card for my hubby, hence the masculine "feel" to the card!

Fabulous masculine anniversary card. Awesome results with the wax paper resist for the strip. I like how the sentiment banner bridges over the recessed panel. Great ideas. TFS

This is such a gorgeous card Liz with so many wonderful details to take in. Your wax paper resist technique is beautiful and spotlighted so nicely in this recessed panel. I also love how you add detailed strips along the edges of the recessed panel to draw the eye in- very nice. Lovely vertical stamping and having your sentiment panel cross the recessed panel is really quite striking. I am so impressed with this wonderful anniversary card! ~Karen.
