I hope you can see the sketch with my card. I thought that having the stamped circular sort of lightbulb could replace the circle on the sketch. I also didn't want to cover up my gel printed background so I doodled wires to make the long skinny panel of the sketch. I tried a new technique today that was super fun. I stamped the image onto my gel plate with black stazon ink. (I did it with trepidation because I was worried it would ruin my plate. Good news is it didn't ruin the plate.) I let the ink dry then I used a brayer to add acrylic paint over the top. Then I place my piece of kraft cardstock onto the plate. What came up was a reverse image of the stamp. On another piece of kraft I mono printed a background with similar colors. I stamped the light bulbs around the edge. I thought it was cool because having the opposite image as my focal image, it added a level of interest. I doodled around the edges and also added white gel pen to make highlights on the lightbulb.
