in the SW we celebrate many festivals that originated in Mexico or Central Americas. Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is one of those events on NOV 2nd. The purpose is To Celebrate Life for ourselves and for those who we miss, it is an opportunity to remember each day is a gift.
I have made several cards, many colors, added lots of different adornment, Nuvo drops, rhinestones, flowers, etc. have fun with this colorful expression of life and tell a great story of someone you miss, appreciating they were in your life and touched your life. the event date is NOV 2nd.
I stamped the sugar skull image with the Ranger dye ink and then coloring with markers/sponging. after deckle die cut, cover page by stamping with Versamark watermark INK and then pour emboss powder over the whole surface. I held the page on the edges but you can use a tweezer holding or tip of your fingers on a corner. heat emboss till fully SPARKLY!
add Nuvo drops or rhinestones, flowers, etc at the end.
I loved using this stamp, a friend of mine mfg's them and sells them in several sizes and different mounting choices on eBay.
TFL and hope you enjoy my selection of these cards/gift box on my gallery, separate album stores them all.

Love what you have done with the sugar skull stamp! The card is gorgeous and your choice of colors make it very festive! Your step by step instructions are easy to follow, and including extra information about Dia de los Muertos was very interesting. Thanks also for including information about where to get the stamp!
