We have been just a bit too busy recently and I realized yesterday morning that we had a wedding to attend yesterday evening and I hadn't made a card for it. I like to take inspiration from the invitation for the card, that is the invite leaning on the inside.
The flourishes on the invitation were printed with gray ink so I stamped my flourishes with gray granite. The writing was printed in some shade of purple so I stamped the greeting with Highland Heather and versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I also heat embossed the inside greeting for a little shine and polish. I think it came together well. By the way, the front card with the stamping on it is recycled from their invitation. I love doing that.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, this is such a lovely wedding card Catherine and oh-so meaningful in how you based this card on the couple's wedding invitation. They will be thrilled with this really special card you made just for them. ~Karen.
