Well, I couldn't just stop at one project when there were all those yummy cake inspirations for the Inspiration Challenge
Stef is our guest designer this week and she is inspiring us with the most amazing cake art!
I found THIS fabulous cupcake and went all out on a treat box.
I am not usually a 3D girl. Trying to get all the measurements and cut lines perfect makes my head hurt. Funny thing, now that I am writing this, I just realized maybe my daughter and I are more similar than I thought. She LOATHES measuring. So much so that all of her art is very free form and she refuses to make a card because she doesn't like to work at making things line up! ANYWAY....making this treat basket was easy peasy because of the die. I added a tag that comes to a point so it sits easily in the basket.
I totally forgot that I was going to add this to Carla's WT755 Challenge to create a basket! Lisa reminded me, thanks, Lisa!
I have details and dimensions on my blog post. I love the size of this small basket. Just to see how many treats the basket could hold, I took out the decorative paper and filled with only mini peanut butter cups. I listed the amount in my post if you are curious!

Oh my goodness what a super fun treat box from your cake inspiration! Love how fun this turned out. You should add the WTUI challenge this week to this one it totally fits.

Angie - I love all your new dies and this treat box is just full of sugary fun. That owl makes me smile perhaps because you made him cross-eyed which I take as already on a sugar high!
These great Halloween dies would convert to a flat card just as easily as they adorn your treat box . . .I can see lots of possibilities . . .

This is wonderful, Angie! I hear you on the 3d...I dislike measuring & I REALLY dislike trying to follow someone else's instructions. Those 2 things just never work out well for me, lol. You did a terrific job w/ this!
