This card is for the Ways to Use It Challenge and also the Technique Challenge from Monday. Concept was pretty good, but I am not crazy about the execution. I should have skipped the distressing on the basket weave, though in truth that is how most of my picnic baskets look as they are hand me downs from my grandmother and now I am a grandmother. I expect my kids will be ditching them instead of enjoying their antique status!

I like the distressing on the basket weave, it adds to the outdoor picnic feel, along with the pretty gingham under layer. My brother and sister never let me forget the time I tripped when carrying a watermelon on our one and only family camping holiday, and it smashed on the ground.
