I took some extra time to try this project, something I have always wanted to make. Now I want to work out how to make one with my larger matchbox die - next time I have a few hours to spare!!
I mostly used a tutorial on The Crafty Spark blog, because I liked the way she shaped the two bottom parts. But I didn't like the handle stuck underneath, even if it is more practical for lifting it by, so I changed that up a bit. I used Hardwood to stamp the little struts, and rounded the ends with a Corner chomper.
I don't often go for 3D projects unless I have a use for them - I reckoned that a Christmas basket was far more likely to get used than anything else, so I found some plaid paper, and decorated the tops with festive foliage.

Impressive work, Sabrina! I can imagine this filled with your Christmas baking, a different goodie in each box. Beautifully constructed and decorated. The recipient will love it. Thanks for the fabulous sample for my challenge!

I love your Christmas basket. It looks fabulous. I bought a die cut from eBay thinking I was getting this basket. I got one that is about an inch wide and 1 1/2 high when finished. This is such a nice Christmas paper craft. Job well done.

Sabrina this is absolutely incredible! Great job creating this fun basket. I love the papers you used and those flowers on the top are a terrific touch too.
