This is the other half of the water colour panel. It is framed with a soft yellow and a nice matching green which doesn't really show up in the photo.
Lots of fun playing around with this technique and seeing that it is going to be cold with possible showers tomorrow I will spend the time making some more water colour panels in different shades.
Hope you enjoy.

Wow, these panels turned out beautifully - hard to believe it was your first time using the technique! I am inspired, and look forward to seeing your next ones.

It's amazing the difference a yellow mat layer makes. I was looking at thinking that the colours on the panel seem so different and yet are the same - the other one takes on a warmer feel. But this one is my favourite if I had to choose.

What a stunning piece of artwork this is Helen! Wow! You could design coloring books and stamps based on this alone. I know I would buy them. I adore the colors you used and the whimsical happy feeling there is to this artwork. You really rocked this challenge my friend! ~Karen.
