Edited with a better photo in natural light today...
I found a YouTube video with the great Jennifer Mcguire, showing quick backgrounds with alcohol inks and yupo paper. I was struggling to get anything decent, so I ended up pouncing my felt covered tool all over the drying ink, and I ended up with this cool stone-look background! Happy accident! A bit uneven in my cutting for the strips in this fun sketch from Allison, which just means I want that new straight line cutter from My Sweet Petunia. Just about 4 months until Christmas, right?
Be sure to join us with this great sketch challenge!
