Nice colors today! I have a friend that asked me if I could make a âbon voyageâ card for her aunt that just retired and is heading on a three week European cruise (how fun!). I got this cut file as a freebie from the Hey Letâs Make Stuff blog. I cut it out of purple and pink adhesive vinyl and stuck it to an overhead transparency sheet. Then I found some light blue paper to cut waves with my new wave die (thatâs four uses in the first weekâmust be some sort of record). I layered one piece of wavy water in front and one behind. Then framed the whole thing in white and popped into my card base. My friend was thrilled with it.

Oh my goodness! This is the best cruise oriented card, EVER! Love the graphic look you achieved by having 2 colors of the vinyl appear in various sections of each of the design pieces. And grounding the scene with diecut waves was the perfect finishing touch. Love everything about this card! TFS
