Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some bright and rich colors to play with: Coastal Cabana, Lovely Lipstick, Gorgeous Grape. The dessert option is "birthday." Well, I guess this card could be used for a birthday, couldn't it? OK, fine, no dessert for me this week!
I couldn't resist this adorable gnome, bought the stamp and then haven't played with it. So this was the week! I stamped the image in black, and then set about painting the little scene with an AquaPainter and ink pads. I added a few squiggles to his beard with a gray brush marker, masked the gnome and swing, and then splattered diluted Soft Suede with a fan brush.
I finished it off with a sentiment stamped on a banner placed at a jaunty angle and added a few gems.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
Accessories: Stitched Rounded Square Inside & Out dies (MFT), Skinny Strips (MFT), AquaPainter, Gems (Pinkfresh Studio), Gray Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker, fan brush

Barbara, we are Swedish, so when I see gnomes, I consider them Swedish trolls (Tomte), and just love them!! Your card is so sweet! (These are the colors of my DD's 2nd bath shower curtain. She LOVES all the Tomte!)

I can just picture that cute little gnome swinging as high (hi!) as he can. Lovely colouring on the gnome and that sweet little bug hiding in the leaves.
