I have missed you, IC, but it's nice to know you are always there for me on Saturdays.
A very fun Pinterest page, although I'm a little confused, I don't see some of the thumbnail pictures on the page. Maybe I needed to open something more? Anyway, this is what I chose: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/155303887191394657/
I had begun this card yesterday for the MIX and F4A but got stalled waiting for things to dry. For the MIX, I used Brushos on top of the hand sanitizer and this card will go to a cyber pen pal for the F4A. Actually, I have lots of friends who I have known for a long time, but live far away for various reasons. Most of the time, catching up is like no time has passed.
The top die layer is cut with the MIX background, the darker layer is a failed attempt at a DOx background with a stencil. The bottom layer is the cream metallic and then I cut one more bottom from kraft for stability. The flower branch was printed on the paper (it's also on the back) and I just folded it in half. A friend just gave me a whole bunch of it, don't know where it came from. To get a little blue in there, I added the handmade button. I think it's made from Fimo or something like that. Again, this same friend gave them to me, she got them from a swap and didn't think she'd use them. My friend's motto is 'give it to Jean, she'll think of something'. I don't understand how she could give them away, but I'm the beneficiary. I cut up the sentiment for better placement.

Beautiful work, Jean. The card has so much depth and I love the printed flower branch. Bet it looks great on the back. Wonderful sentiment for a friend. I don't know why it didn't all open for you. I've had no problem. Maybe refresh it after you open it if they don't all open. All the jars are so pretty.

Jean, this is beautiful. I love the depth of the top layer, using all your technique papers. Thenfloral/frame die is lovely. Awesome sentiment and so true. Such a pretty button too.

they were probably the ad's ( what you did not see, I think when its not your own board they show you lots of advertising on other people's boards) no big deal. Love the depth of texture this has Jean

Beautifully done on combining all those challenges - That blue Fimo pansy looks great tucked in with the pink array of blossoms. Years ago I read in a decorating book that every room - no matter what the color scheme should have at least one thing blue - I wonder if this holds true for cards, too, because I am digging the POP of blue!
