There's still time to check out the DTGD challenges and even create something for the gallery that strikes your fancy! Check it out on the home page...
My card covers two challenges. You'll have to click on the top news stories for the link to DTGD. Joanne is hosting the DTGD19Angelnorth. You'll find her challenge there.
And this weeks Featured Stamper is KelliJo. Wow, what a gallery. I started at the very first up load and I'll say, so many of your creations caught my eye, Kelli...but it was Cozy Sweaters and Coffee! that sparked my imagination!
I kept the focal stamp, your layout, and the watercolored rug. I changed my chair to a print (from Basic Grey's 'Dear Heart' paper group. Used a quote from Gandi that I broke up to fit my design and applied glossy accents. Added a piece of patterned paper from the same Basic Grey. The star Anise and Cardamon were saved from a last pot of tea I enjoyed with a friend. Tied a breezy pink ribbon around the top.
Kelli, I hope you enjoy the cards made for your honor! Your humor and lightheartedness come shining through your work.
Thank you Joanne...see you in the DTGD thread.
Happy day, all.

How wonderful this is, Susan! What a sweet wing back chair & I love the greeting. When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to be 16 so I could drive. Now time goes MUCH too quickly.

I never use these colors and am so inspired. Another unexpected pairing of ribbon and star anise. You always take us in new directions like you did with that quote. All so cozy!

Not only does this card look good, I bet it smells good as well. You chose perfect paper to piece your upholstered chair. As I recall, you have a fondness for furniture stamps.... Awesome card.
