Today's MIX gives you the chance to get out those fibers you've been ignoring. I used burlap and pulled it apart to use individual threads on this. I also stitched some fabric strips and added some die cut leaves which I passed through my crimper. One of my layers is a text dp that I stenciled using green ink. These were layered behind a Victorian scrap bird and nest. The embossed layer was sponged and distressed. TFL!

Oh, fantastic. Even the nest looks like fibres. I especially love the stitching down the narrow strips, and the stencilling on the text paper. That is one gorgeous card, Polly.

Oh wow, Polly, this is a beautiful mixed media card, so many lovely details to take in and the colouring just fabulous! I might have to try and fit in this challenge, too!!
