This one is for the Teapotters Challenge to make an umbrella card for Julie & Dave. Years ago, I received this paper and the pre-stamped sentiment in a card kit swap. I thought the paper with the many umbrellas was perfect for the theme and represents how we need many friends in tough times. The image went along nicely with the papers. I wanted to cut the pre-stamped sentiment with a cloud die, but it was too big. I tried partial die-cutting but the sides didnât work out. It is still a little cloud shaped and I sponged the edges. For Julie, I added a shabby chic flower from the card kit. Going to Julie and Dave very soon. TFL

Oh my gosh, this is so true! Friends, family and God are umbrellas. I hadn't thought of it this way but it is really the truth. I so love this sentiment and your fun card, Diane. Hugz

Oh, great DP. And such a true sentiment. I remember a friend saying it to me when I was going through a bout of depression, and it was so helpful. The shower of hearts is a lovely concept - the silver lining to those clouds.

You have the coolest items in your stash! Love how you fit the sentiment on a partial cloud die-cut with a strip of raindrops crossing underneath it - and all those umbrellas!
