For the Alpha "W" challenge. My W is for wings. I made this for the owners of Stampadoodle in Bellingham, Wash., because they are retiring after 28 years and will most certainly be missed. Just simple embossing and sponging and then going over the white ep with a piece of paper towel to make the white shine through. Backed the banner with a long piece of foam tape. tfl

Wow, this is beautiful! Love the white embossed butterfly. Fabulous blended the colors in the background. I like how you used purple in the corner to match the sentiment banner in the other corner. Wonderful card. How sweet of you to make a card for the owners who are retiring. Sounds like it was a great store! Cute name. Well done for letter W.

What a stunning card this is Shirl and so perfect for retirement too (being free as a butterfly). This white-embossed butterfly is really striking with the stunning colors you have so expertly shaded onto this card. Like Diane, I adore the purple sponging in one corner and the purple sentiment banner in the opposite corner. And the sparkly orange brad is such a sweet touch too! I know your friends will truly appreciate and adore this gorgeous card you made for them to celebrate their retirement. ~Karen.
