I've combined two fun challenges today. Polly's DTGD Challenge and Toni's "On the Edge" challenge. For Toni's challenge, I cut my card base down so the front would be short and I sponged on blue ink on the inside and outside, then I stamped and cut these hearts and bird from the Groovy Lines stamp set that I've never used. It's just not me, but it does make a pretty sympathy card.
It's Day 6 of DTGD, I hope you've joined in the fun already, but there's still time!

This jumped out at me...it's so pretty..I love those hearts paired with that bird. The sentiment is so lovely for a sympathy card. Thanks for playing along in my challenge Jen.

LOVE!!!! That subtle background script, the placement of the bird and hearts, the drawn outline of your sentiment and the sponging - ok, EVERYTHING!! Gorgeous. I have this set and want to case this!

Wow! Is this ever gorgeous Jen. You have taken this older set and made it feel new and modern again. I loved seeing this beauty in the gallery because I forget I can stamp and cut out something multiple times to achieve the look I want so thank you for the inspiration on this! ~Karen.
