For the August Scrapbook Variety Challenge, I chose option 1 and scrapbooked about a summer visit to San Diego when it was very hot and muggy. Forgot to put the date, so I will have to go back and add it, but it was August 6, 2014, so almost exactly 5 years ago. I used the August sketch from my blog for the design. And my cold drink of choice in my scraproom was iced tea!

Love the shaped paper on the left. The title and journaling fits so perfectly and the strip of hearts over the burlap looks great. I really love this page!

What memories this brings back of all the time we have to make due with what we have!! Not always the ideal accommodations when vacationing!! Love the photo of your ds sleeping on the landing! Wonderful use of shapes for the three photos!
