Have I ever mentioned that I am not good at following directions in crafting?
Well the little palm tree picture is my actual result from following Kia's video but it failed because... I used a heat tool because my paper wasn't drying (wrong paper I am sure but all I had) and nothing would dry and this weird blob appeared but looked cool and then I had the wrong kind of wipe (probably created some toxic stuff here...). Did I mention I only have one color of Distress Oxide?
I had everything out so I made a card using ink, spray, smash, white acrylic paint mixed with salt, and a Lysol wipe - totally the opposite of anything Kia told us to try or do. Craziness, but I like it so I thought I would share both my creations.

I think this turned out fabulously, Nancy. I got a kick out of reading your process! The background looks gorgeous. I even see a tad of purple in there. You cracked me up with the lysol wipe. Glad it worked! I would never have thought to try that.

This card is so gorgeous and honestly, had I not read about your "adventure" in making these cards, I would never have known. I enjoy thinking of you being a "mad scientist" in your lovely craft room creating wonderful creations like these. Fun! ~Karen.

Super scene, Nancy, and I wouldn't mind being there right now. Broken China is a great oxide to have and your palm trees really look great against it.
