Hello vintage lovers! Nancy (nwilliams) issued a photo inspiration challenge. And the TLC is Camouflage Die-Cuts.
Here's my best take on both the challenges. Check them out and let's see your work in the galleries!
I am editing to add details about creating this room...I fussy cut the chandelier which was stamped on newsprint with 2 kinds of Stickles, one for the crystals, and another for the flickering~flames. The cat has Bo Bunny flocked powder sprinkled on the outline. The lamp shades were embossed with SU's Linen EF. I used rice paper for the coverlet with the edge turned back. The turquoise bolster is hand cut from a Basic Grey~True Love, a pattern that actually has repeating hearts on it. I paper pieced the chair with the snippet of Basic Grey Wisteria I dry embossed as was the brown footboard. Crafted some pillows and personalized one. The wood floor was dry embossed with a Scor pal for texture. I could not resist a few heart shaped buttons from my grandmothers button box. The larger one has the thread a previous garment still attached. The walls were stamped and embossed with a fragment from the Stampin Up set: French Script.
Thanks for stopping by...and your comments...always grateful! Hoping this inspires dreams abounding...

Oh my goodness, Susan, this is just incredible. All the details, the bird in the antique chair which reminds me of the Hepplewhite ones we used to have, the stained wooden floor, that sweet cast. It's just brilliant. Thanks for fitting in the TLC challenge.

Oh my gosh, Susan, this is so perfect for about 6 DTGD challenges - but especially mine. Love this! You need to come design my bedroom as your elements are perfect. So glad you played - I was hoping you would. Hugz

Your fussy cutting skills need to be included in the Guiness Book of Records. Wow, wow, wow my friend, every itty bitty inch of this creation is jaw dropping incredible. I can picture you sitting there, delicately cutting, arranging and adding all the elements. This is made straight from the heart...your grandmothers buttons are proof of that.
