First of all, thanks to Lisa for tonight's craftroom challenge and to Beate for the fabulous video tutorial. These magic cards are fun to make, but my version involved a lot of retracing my steps rather than thinking ahead. Yikes! Good thing I like problem solving! Now that I have conquered my first, I think I'll make a couple more - but it sure takes some finesse!
This challenge piqued my interest because I wanted a special card to feature the NO LINE watercoloring I did of the precious Leo the Stuffie image (and it's going to a special friend who's in a rough patch right now). Somehow in my brain, I thought you'd see the no-line version when the card was pulled up, and by the time I figured out my faulty-thinking, I was knee deep in the card, so I will color another no-line lion! It was super cute. I love watercoloring with Distress inks!
Can I also take a minute to call your attention to some O-L-D supplies from my stash? Beate suggested an eyelet. I got rid of those years ago, but I had some of those giant ones from SU!! (Do they even sell them anymore - notice the little SU clip, too?!?) I didn't have a hammer and eyelet setter, but low and behold on a bottom shelf I had one of those nifty Fiskers orange chomper tools that punches the hole and sets the eyelet with the shift of a button. One of those nights hoarding craft supplies paid off!! Cut into some fresh 12x12 paper and didn't even blink, either!!

This is just FANTASTIC! What an adorable image and super fun sentiment! I love that you have him on colored DP before you pull. This card is just full of fun patterns and colors. And I'm so proud of you for cutting into that fresh paper. We all know how difficult that can be. I can relate to every single thing you ran into in making this card. Mine took me ALL DAY!
