Thanks to Denise for hosting this months TeaPotter Swap! I enjoyed reading your berry memories, don't we all have sweet memories of discovering a patch of wild berries or the joy of picking them in Grandmothers garden or patch?
My card uses this weeks' Color Challenge with was given to us by Chris (inkpad). Hues of heather, seaspray, and pool. Such a calming combination of color.
I used a Spellbinders embossing folder for my background and sprayed it lightly with a Mr Huey seascape color. The main image was stamped onto white cs with TH lavender. I fussy cute the berries and leaves and popped some of them up from the panel. I added the Micro Mini Beads in colors of purple and a metallic green on top of the berries.
Found a beautiful glass button from my grandmother's button box to add on the left with a snippet of yellow seam binding (my neutral color) Happiness was stamped and embossed. I added a wide strip of Washi tape with a tiny bit of gold in the pattern.
I have so many memories of berries, but I believe my favorite one is having my DH come in from picking blueberries from our 26 year old bushes. He tells me to close my eyes and open my mouth. And for that effort I have the tastiest Oregon midnight blue berries. Delighting in the simple things.
Thanks for stopping by...I bet the gallery is bursting with delicious treats this week!

I love reading your process and your berry memories. The texture and colours look fabulous and how special will it be for a very lucky Teapotter to not only have a "One4Joy original", but they will also have one of your grandmothers beautiful buttons!

What a gorgeous, yummy looking card! I love those little micro mini beads! I haven't used them in years...I wonder if I still have some! That is so cool that you added that beautiful glass button too! Great memories!

Oh my - what a super-special button. I have some like that, but I'm afraid I don't use them on my cards. Button boxes are such a wonderful treasure trove - I have some of the ones I used to play with in my mother's button box when I was little. Those blackberries look delish!
