My DH is an International Track and Field Official. He has officiated in many states as a Starter (the guy that shoots the starter's pistol) for high school, college, and pre-Olympics meets.
We have a son (High Hurdles) and grandson who ran track (Cross Country). Hence, this card. I had to make the track and hurdles by using a Sharpie water-based paint marker, and had some problems with it. At least it worked better tracing oval dies better than my defunct gel pens!!!
I posted both the inside and outside of this card, and the saying is,
"I used to have a fear of hurdles .....But I got over it."
Whichever one of the guys who get this card will appreciate the humor, coming from me.

Hi Neighbor! I love your card! Your track and hurdles are great. Love your fun inside saying. My DH was a high school football ref so I could've made a card for him.

What a fabulous card! Love the inside, as usual, with your witty sense of humor, Anne! Great idea as my marathoner daughter would love this as well. Might have to case it.

I just l♥ve your humor, and I can always count on you to make me smile or giggle and sometimes laugh out loud, Anne! Cool card for one of the men in your life. *My DH got a letter in high school for the best runner in cross country.
