The drips in this card from Jeanne's gallery called to me today. My drips were from watercolor inks (rather than the technique Jeanne used) because I've been having to remind myself to "let the paper do its work," when it comes watercolors lately. So I tackled the card by just "playing" with water, water trails, and paint - observing what happens with each new drip until I was happy with the result. I have also been worried less about being a paper-hoarder, so I used a whole sheet of my (inexpensive) Strathmore paper and cut out the part I liked for the card back (and the rest is in the garbage!! The Kuretake watercolors have a lot of pigment in them - the purple color bled through the white eb powder, creating a happy mistake!
Changes from Jeanne's work: I used white as a contrast color instead of black, added enamel dots, and the watercolor paint was both my bg and drippy parts.
Thanks for the inspiration, Jeanne! Enjoy your week as Featured Stamper; your gallery is gorgeous!
