This is another one of my creations from yesterday's technique challenge. I used my Shattered Glass ink pad (which is on the dry side) on my embossing folder, trying to get some areas darker. Then I went in with the brush side of my markers to create a plaid. I spritzer the eb folder with water, slipped in the watercolor paper and ran it through my machine. After it was dry, I took the fine tip of my markers and darkened a few edges of the plaid part.
To finish the card, I used my Copics to color the daisy, The deepest shades of the petals are BG 72, softened with BG70 to go with the colors of the card and used the Distress Markers to add some stippling and tie the colors together. I took Carla's suggestion about die cutting scraps of some of my discards for the sentiment flag. There were some splotches that had some great interest.

Cathy, this is beautiful!!! Love the plaid. I will definitely be trying your technique. Glad you were able to use one of your discards for the sentiment flag. It looks great. Thanks for adding another wonderful creation to the challenge gallery.
