For today's Mixability challenge, Jeanne S has asked us to use beachy colors. I was excited to pull out another new goody I purchased back in June at the Heirloom Show I went to. I created it a la PB&J style, which translates to Penny Black and Jill Foster, although I used a Technique Junkies stamp. Here is one of several videos from PB&J that inspired me, .
I started out by inking the piers with Coffee and the reflections with Shadow Gray. I used Chipped Sapphire for the water at the horizon line and Peacock Feathers in the middle. Antique Linen was used for the shore and sand area. After all inking was done to my satisfaction or better judgment, I restamped the scene with versamark and heat embossed with clear EP. Then I watercolored with the distress inks listed below to finish creating the scene. *I forgot to add that I used a white gel pen to touch up areas in the water and sand/shore area.
Added a small talk sticker with extra tombow adhesive and trimmed the image panel which I matted onto orchid opulence and then onto taken with teal.
Even with the small cubes of ink this was a teeny bit tricky and there are some messy areas that got embossed, so it is best viewed from afar I have noticed, haha. But, it was fun and I am happy with the results.

The touches of white gel pen give such a realistic white capped look to those watery waves. I am also taken with the reflections of the wooden posts - not sure if that is part of your stamp or something you added - but it looks super.
