I needed a sympathy card today, so I found this canoe stamp that I had never used and made a Beachy Colored card. I started by sponging Broken China and Tumbled Glass DOX inks on the paper and then stenciled clouds with white acrylic paint. Then I took a smaller panel and sponged some clouds and drew some birds. The strip of navy cardstock came out of my scrap drawer and I stamped some water ripples and embossed with glitter EP and added Wink of Stella. The main panel was stamped with Cattails and colored with gel pen. I stamped, cut, and colored the canoe and glued it down on the sandpaper beach. It needed a bit of blue sky, so I grabbed my makeup brush that I use for blue and rubbed it on the sky. Then I stamped the sentiment.

I saw your comment on my card and I agree with you. I loved making a stencil and sponging white paint through it. I want to do it again too! This is a beautiful card! I like the layering too!
