I needed a 15 year workiversary card for a coworker. I hope she likes it. I couldn't get a great photo of it. You should see how it shines IRL. I always tell my coworkers that you never know what kind of card you're going to get from me. It all depends on what the challenge of the day is! Carla's challenge today is so fun! I chose to try the Embossed Kisses technique and took out the Seasonal Solids stamp set that I've never used. I kissed the stars with two different embossing folders for a little bit of added interest. And then I masked them all off and sponged on Broken China DOX ink. Splattered with water and then sprayed with Nuvo Mica Mist (oh the sparkle!). And thank goodness for my ScanNCut for helping me mask off all these stars! Then I also used the ScanNCut to cut out a bunch of paper airplanes, because why not. I popped up some of them on foam squares and others I left flat on the background. I stamped a bit of the script background onto the paper airplaes to add interest. Lastly, I edged my panels in black Sharpie and drew flight lines for the airplanes. I had a really good time making this card this morning!

And I'm having a good time looking at your fun card, Jen! Nice results from the embossed kiss technique. I'm hoping to try it later. Your co-workers are so lucky to get your creative wonders. Glad you had fun and that you played in my challenge. As always, I'm Impressed!

And what a super fun card is flying to your co-worker. I'm impressed, I never had a lot of luck when I tried the embossed kisses, I do better with two stamps. That starry background is just fab. And I love those little paper planes.

so you, Jen! I love the paper airplanes and the super bright colors. Something numbers peeps might not think about...and look, you even include a bit of rope for safety in~cases. Magical and fun...that's what you get when you hire an artist!

Love the technique Jennifer and what a great card for your co-worker. You are right when people request a card from me too, they never know what they are going to get it all depends on the challenge.
