This was a great technique! Easy with no mess!
Used SB Nestabilities Fleur de Lis, EF by SB M-Bossabilities called Venetian. Will definitely use this technique again! Thanks Carla for all the tutorials! I have a few birthdays in August and this will go to a good friend in VA! Thanks so much.

Elegant birthday card in the white and what looks like golden shimmer. The embossed panel framed with the die cut frame is stunning, Kathy. The pearl enhanced butterfly completes the design perfectly.

Beautifully done, Kathy. Love the combination of the fleur de lis panel and inky embossing. The butterfly is the perfect finish. Thanks for playing in my challenge, I'm Impressed!

Seeing this made me wonder if yellow is your favourite colour, as I remember a couple more lovely yellow cards recently, especially one with curvy dies. I'm glad you had fun trying this technique out. I remember when it was first introduced I saw it all over the place, and I still didn't have any type of die-cutting machine...any embossing I did was in my mother's old pasta maker, and I doubt if the technique would have been very successful in those circumstances. It makes a lovely birthday card for your friend. I like your use of the fleur de lis square combined with the faux letterpress.

Okay, Sabrina, I love shades of yellow especially in the summer! This yellow actually had some peach in it which is another of my favs. Always love your comments. Thanks.
