This week's Tea Party is for our own dear CherylQuilts. She really needs some SCS love right now and I thought the best way to show her that love would be with some Power Poppy stamps. Snietje (Anita) is hosting for us today and she has challenged us to use water on our cards. So I got on my brave face and watercolored this big dahlia. I probably could get better at watercoloring if I practiced or maybe I need to watch some Youtube videos. But I love my alcohol markers so much, that I rarely put them down for watercolor. Anyway, today I did and the middle of that dahlia is such a muddled mess that I covered it up with a raffia bow. Maybe I need to look for some hot press watercolor paper instead of the cold press? But I survived the challenge and chose to distract with bold colors and patterns in the background. I hope Cheryl likes my attempt at watercolor. I continue to pray for her and Walt.
