This is going out to our dear Cheryl (CherylQuilts) who is having a serious health issue. She is the sweetest person and one of our biggest cheerleaders here on SCS. For her card I went with a mixed media design. I started by taking some old sheet music and applying gesso. I then did a faint stencil design on the bg sponging with a citron ink. The blossoms were stamped off the edge and then watercolored using twinkiing H2Os. I love those shimmery watercolors. Come play along in the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week and send dear Cheryl some cheer.

I love the faint music piece behind your beautiful blooms, Polly. And, the sentiment is great. I am sure Cheryl will appreciate and love this wonderful card.

I love backgrounds with music, and this certainly is a beautiful one, Polly. And then the lovely soft blossoms and rich texture in the background - a treat all round.

Such a beautiful card of encouragement, Polly. I love that you used a Power Poppy image. I plan to use one too as I think of all the pretty cards she has made using her Power poppy images here on SCS.
