This is my sample for CC749. Stef is our hostess and she chose pretty peacock, bermuda bay and silver for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is sparkle.
The CC challenge is a little different for the month of July. We have a theme of Christmas in July for the entire month. You can follow that theme or just use the colors and create another card with the design of your choice.
I wanted to make my sentiment the focal point and built my card around it. I used the Taylored Expressions "scribbles cutting plate" cut in white glitter cardstock. Layered it over pretty peacock designer paper from the "woven threads" collection by Stampin'-Up.
Using the Starlight thinlits dies from Stampin'-Up, I added a few stars and cut them in bermuda bay and layered with silver cardstock.
I cut the Christmas Star in silver cardstock and placed it over my sentiment oval. Finished off my card by adding a few Bermuda bay enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We would love to see you take the Christmas challenge with these non-traditional colors.

What a feast for the eyes, Mary! That verse is always so tender to me. Large animals, men of power all bringing and bowing down to the babe in the manger. Wonderful. Your card reminds me of the abundance of our world.
