I loved the bg in this image here, and it reminded me of the winter skies that I love to create. Especially with my Penny Black stamps.
Using techniques I learned from Jill Foster and Michelle Jordain, I used multiple stamp sets, stamping, masking, sponging, and splattering to create this scene. The splattering is done first with water and blotted, then black and finally white acrylic paint. The sentiment is a favorite of mine from PTI. The panel is matted in black and adhered to card front.

Gasp! Maura, this is soooo gorgeous- I just have no words! You have a real gift for making a very complicated scene seem easy and effortless. I am so grateful I saw this gorgeous card today! ~Karen.
That photo!! Wow! And I love your card! You recreated the colors and splatter beautifully yet it's completely your own design! A gorgeous winter scene!
