Sabrina has challenged us to use frames on our cards today and given us way too many options for it. I was totally overwhelmed, but I had this Confetti Cupcake stamp set on my list of stamps waiting to be used and I thought it would look good in a mitered frame. Of course, I'm not great at measuring and lining things up properly, so my frame is a little wonky--which makes it just look more home made, right? I stamped the cupcake with Distress Oxides spritzed with water and I like the look. Maybe I will actually use this set again.

LOL, I often cheat with mitred frames and just cut the angle on two of the pieces instead of all four. I don't think yours looks that wonky at all, and what little a picky person might see is in keeping with the country feel of the check cloth and soft colours.

Mmm, cupcakes. This looks fabulous, Jen, and is making me hungry. We just started low/no carb two weeks ago and I have been having dreams of cake and pizza

Oh, this looks good enough to eat Jen! I just love this fun cupcake with candle and all the gorgeous papers you used so brilliantly. I did not notice any wonkiness at all in your frame (probably because I am hungry and eyeing up that cupcake) and I am pretty certain no one else will either. You did a fabulous job with the mitered frame which is more than I have ever done! ~Karen.

I love it! I think the spritzed cupcake and the watercolor looking lines in the pink plaid work well. No worries about your mitered frame, I think it looks nice!
