I kept coming back to this one for the cute turtle & balloon which reminded me of this dog & balloon image. Then I noticed the plaid paper! A friend had given me a large stack of retired Stampin Up! Designer Series paper all mixed up; no paper colors or names. I was able to identify most of them, except this one plaid piece. Thank you Terry for listing the paper name! I thought it would be fun to use it for my card.
My changes: different image, used red mats, popped up the sentiment instead of the image. The dog and parrot are one stamp, which I heat embossed in black; the dog was die-cut into a rectangle without the parrot and the bird was cut by itself & popped up.
I changed the theme to a friendship hello card. TFS

How serendipitous that the one paper you could not name had success by looking thru and casing one of Terry's cute cards. Love how you split up the parrot from the cute dog!

Diane, how I love this card! These images are so sweet and the plaid paper sets them off perfectly! This is an adorable friendship card ... gonna have to case this one!

Oh, my heart! This is the most adorable card ever! Love how you popped up the bird and have it greeting the dog in the air! And how you colored the bird and added sparkle to the balloon. So incredibly sweet!
