This is actually Version 2.0 of this card. On the first one, I tried stamping the background using my MISTI, but that ended up being more trouble (& an inkier mess) than it was worth. So the second time I just mounted my letter stamps on an acrylic block. I drew light pencil lines on the card front panel to guide my stamping. I first stamped the "THANK" right next to where the "U" would be in Memento Elderberry ink. I stamped the rest in Sweet Plum, using the grid lines on my block to line up with the penciled guidelines. After I finished all the stamping, I erased my pencil lines.
When I'd finished the stamping, I glued my "U" die cut in place. The Elderberry "THANK" didn't stand out as much as I wanted, so I stamped the word again with Versamark onto a scrap of white cardstock & heat embossed it with white. I inked that with Sweet Plum to match with the stamping, cut it into a small label, & glued it next to the "U." I adhered the panel to a white card base, and 25 minutes after I had begun, I was done!
