For Lyn's TLC challenge today, which you can find HERE. I made time to watch the video before work (should have starting the housework, ho hum...). Decided I'd like to try using my paper to add texture to paste. So I spread the paste and pressed the paper towel over it while it was still wet. When dry, I replaced the stencil, sprinkled with an assortment of Brushos and spritzed lightly. It was meant to be a background for a birthday image, but after I'd added the sentiment I decided I didn't want to cover up all the background so I left it as is. I guess I'll try another background now for the image....

Wow Sabrina love your color burst!! what kind of media you've used here? I tried with gesso and with gel, with gesso I didn't get the towel print, with the gel I've tried the other take with the aperture in the towel, that worked quite well but I didn't finish yet

I'm with you - I wouldn't want to cover any more of that vibrant bg than absolutely necessary. I like the combo of the zig zag texture from the towel & paste framed by the stenciled squares and rectangles.

What a gorgeous card, Sabrina! Might have to try that tech as I bought some Brushos at the stamp show in Raleigh on Saturday. Love all the vibrant colors ! Glad you put the quote on the bottom and didn’t cover up the colors.

Spectacular, Sabrina! I love the texture and the color! I was worried this morning when I saw "paper towel" because mine are smooth, so if the challenge was to get the texture then I was going to have to hope that my napkins would work!
