I used the middle row in the VSN tic-tac-toe challenge for my card elements: bright colors, multiples of an item (butterflies), & die cut words. I stamped the butterflies in rainbow colors on white cardstock, then die cut them. For the greeting, I ink blended on 2 scraps of mixed media paper in a rainbow, added Stick It adhesive to the back of each, and die cut the words. I laid out my butterflies on my panel, following the sketch, which I'd turned 90 degrees. When I had a layout I liked, I used a piece of Press 'n Seal to pick them up. I applied glue to the back-most butterflies & laid them all, still on the Press 'n Seal, onto the cardstock. I let the glue set up on the back ones, pulled up the rest of the butterflies, applied glue to the next layer, and repeated the process until they were all glued down. Once the glue dried, I cut off the overhanging bits at each end of the row. I adhered my greeting below, matted the panel with yellow, and adhered it to a white card base. This was a pretty quick card to put together--it took me just over 40 minutes!
