Kylie Bertucci's LoveItChopIt approach with DSP is getting me through some tight crunches for cards. Pre-chopped papers mean I just pull a piece of already cut DSP, adhere it down to the card front, add a greeting!
The punch I used for my greetings is my quick-card go-to greeting punch.
I wanted the greetings to stand out a bit more so ran color-coordinated Write Markers around the perimeter of the punched pieces (which were already adhered down). Then I decided the punched greetings were too 'stark' so decided to do some color blending. Created a mask for the greeting's punched shape by punching the same shape from a scrap of paper and laying it over/around the piece on the card front. Proceeded to use a blending tool to lightly color the perimeter of the shapes with the greetings.
