I made this clock for the Letter R Alphabet Challenge.
The R is for the roses. When I saw issue 191 of Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine and saw the clock project pictured on the back cover, I knew I had to buy this magazine and make the clock. I stopped at GoodWill on my way home and picked up this clock for $3.99. Note to self, make sure clock works before spending a lot of time making the roses. Stamped the roses and leaves and colored them with copic makers. Die cut the pieces I could and fussy cut the remaining pieces. Removed screws from back of clock, then removed face plate. Attach roses and leaves to clock front using Scotch, double-sided tape. Put face plate back in place and set screws again. This is when I found out the clock did not work. Ugh! However, it was just a matter of lifting one the 2nd hands up a bit so it could move freely. Whew! This is such a fun project to make and one I will do again. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

What a gorgeous project! If you do more of these, check out Walmart for a clock. I think they only want $3.99-$4.99 for brand new ones! Glad you got yours to work!

Whoa, this is so very pretty and cool too. Love that you got your clock to work, but even if you didn't, this makes a wonderful piece of wall display decor. Love that you just had to lift the 2nd hand up a bit. I do not think I would have ever thought of that-note to myself from now on! Your fussy cutting looks amazing and love the colors you colored with!
